Kirsten’s Poems

Sometimes I wonder if we were on opposite sides of the world, and the tide was rolling in on us under the nighttime sky, would your wave be thinking the same thoughts as mine? As the sun rises, and the tide rolls away from my heart and crashes at your feet, would you be feeling the same feelings as me? Are waves divisible by 2?, where does a wave start, and where do they end? Are they pushed and pulled by our thoughts and desires?, or are they just some type of pleasure provider? They are my gateway to heaven. Are they unique, or do they resemble every individual the same? Do they really mean anything? or are they just like the endless millions of stars that put our minds to a nights rest?

kindness. kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

It reminds me of something you might write after a nighttime journey on a glass boat:
The ocean floor is hidden
From your viewing lens,
A depth perception
Languished in the night.

Just like the falling rainbow,
Just like the stars in the sky,
Life should never feel small.

To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!
I carry your heart with me(I carry it in my heart)I am never without it(anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling. I fear not fate(for you are my fate, my sweet)I want no world(for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you. Here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart. I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
